I've had a filter pitcher in the past but they pose two problems. 1. I forget to replace the filters which cost an arm and a leg in one lump sum. 2. I'm lazy and forget to fill the pitcher which leaves me with no water at the most inopportune times. Oh wait, make it three problems. 3. If you are worried about the taste/quality of your own water, it is cheaper to buy a water filter. Huh, interesting.
